Nene Valley Advanced Motorcyclists
The Nene Valley Advanced Motorcyclists Group is based in Northampton and meets every Sunday at the “Sixfields” cinema car park (09.00 Summer, 09.30 winter). “Sixfields” stadium is just to the west of Northampton town centre and is well signposted. If you are interested in joining us, get in touch with one of the contacts below or just turn up. If you decide to join, membership is only £20 a year and we appreciate a voluntary contribution to Group funds of £5 per observed ride.
The objective of the Group is to help you, through observation and encouragement, to achieve the highest RoSPA Advanced Drivers and Riders riding award level of which you are capable. We don’t criticise, we don’t lecture, but we do help you to improve your performance and get more enjoyment from your riding.
RoSPA Advanced Drivers and Riders awards qualification at Bronze, Silver and Gold level. All are challenging and worthwhile and the Gold award is recognised as the highest available civilian riding standard.
Sunday ride-outs would normally comprise an observed ride of about 40 miles to a selected venue, but we have occasional longer runs.
Our Group is ideal for riders with some experience; including those coming back to biking after a long gap.
