Answer 10

Do you always know the speed limit for the road on which you are driving?

Correct Answer: YES

Speed limits are set to take account of the road and traffic environment in which you are riding or driving. They may also relate to the accident experience involving excess speed on that road. Therefore, it is important that we keep within the set speed limits, but importantly vary our speed within those limits to take account of the road and traffic conditions that apply at the time.

Remember excess speed is a major contributor to road accidents. It is important that drivers and riders give attention to signs relating to speed limits and understand their meaning.
